Petrol pumps in Sindh have set new timings for their operations. As per the new schedule, they will be opening from 6 am to 4 pm on a per-day basis.
Previously, because of the lockdown they were to operate from 8 am to 5 pm.
The decision of the changed timings has been made by the Petroleum Dealers Association. The new schedule is to be put into practice today.
On the other hand, the government of Sindh has taken the decision of promoting the grades 1-8 students without conducting any examinations. These students are to be promoted on the basis of their previous results, as per the announcment made the by the Sindh education minister, Saeed Ghani.
He said that the schools will not be opening from the 1st of June and the decision regarding the schools’ closure extension will be announced soon.
This news has brought some clarity at least to the minds of the students and their parents about the examinations. Nobody is aware that for how long the corona pandemic is to stretch, in such circumstances taking definite decisions is crucial for everyone.
