Peshawar International Airport Will be Closed Temporarily

PIA on its official Facebook and Twitter page made the announcement that the Peshawar International Airport will be closed temporarily as some repair work is going on at the airport. The flights have been rescheduled due to the work being done at the airport.

Here is the official announcement by PIA:

“As informed by CAA through a NOTAM, Peshawar International Airport, due necessary repair work, will be closed for wide-body aircraft from 31st May to 5th June. In this regard, PIA has made some changes in its schedule. On 1st June PK 354 operating from Karachi to Peshawar is rescheduled to land at Islamabad instead of Peshawar. Similarly, PK 735 will depart from Islamabad to Jeddah and on 2nd June PK 736 coming from Jeddah will land at Islamabad instead of Peshawar. On the same day, PK 353 Peshawar to Karachi flight has also been rescheduled to operate from Islamabad.
PIA Spokesperson has said that information about a change in schedule is being disseminated to the passengers on available contact numbers provided in their booking details. A spokesperson has regretted the inconvenience caused to our valued passengers.”

Talking about PIA we must also inform our readers that PIA has started flight operations on a new route which is between Islamabad and Doha. 

PIA tweeted on its official Twitter account and said, “PIA is now introducing a new flight between Islamabad and Doha, starting from 31st May, 2018. Book your tickets accordingly! For more information, visit  or call 111-786-786. #PIA.”
