The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has urged the ex-cricketers to apply for the various positions within the institution.
On Wednesday, PCB stated in one of its releases that the Cricket Board of the country is asking and encouraging the ex-cricketers to come back to the field by seriously taking into consideration the different roles, which includes the match officials in the 2020-21 domestic season.
The cricket board has made the statement that the job opportunities creation is part of the decision of the board to boost the involvement of the ex-players in the local structure and to train and develop the local talent in all the aspects of the game.
Applicants are required to be under the age of 40 and have played for at least 50-first class matches.
The cricket board further said that it is also making the plans of hiring the foreign and first-class cricketers in significant media roles for the broadcasting and live streaming of the domestic matches. It was further added that these roles might potentially include studio shows and commentary and that further details would be shared and confirmed as time gets closer.
