Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the tour of New Zealand. The two Test matches of the series between Pakistan and New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship will be played at Mount Maunganui and Christchurch.
The Boxing Day Test at Mount Mangnoi will run from December 26 to 30, after which the two teams will meet in Christchurch, where the second Test of the series will begin on January 3 according to the details.
New Zealand is fourth and Pakistan is fifth in the points table of the ICC World Test Championship. Currently, there is a difference of 14 points between the two teams, any team can get a maximum of 120 points in this series. In the points table, India (360 points) is first, Australia (296 points) is second and England (292 points) is third.
Before these two Test matches in the ICC World Test Championship, both the teams will compete in three T20 matches. The first match of the T20 series will be played on December 18 in Auckland, the second on December 20 in Hamilton, and the third on December 22 in Napier.
There is a difference of 19 points between Pakistan and New Zealand in the world ranking of T20. Pakistan cricket team is ranked fourth in the world and New Zealand is ranked sixth. In this ranking, Australia (275) is first, England (271) is second and India (266) is third.

Director International Cricket PCB Zakir Khan said that Pakistan has always performed well on the tour of New Zealand. He said that New Zealand is a country that provides the best facilities for cricket, where the supporting fans live. He hoped that the Pakistan cricket team would once again perform well on the tour of New Zealand.
Zakir Khan said that this series is very important for Pakistan because after that Pakistan will have to play Test matches only against South Africa in the ICC World Test Championship. He hoped that the Pakistan cricket team would end the event in a great way.
New Zealand Cricket chief executive David White says he has always been happy to host the Pakistan cricket team and is confident that fans will be looking forward to the Test and T20 series between the two countries this time around.
He further said that the Pakistan cricket team has been touring New Zealand since 1965 and during that time stars like Majid Khan, Hanif Muhammad, Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, and Waqar Younis have been seen in action on this land.
He expressed hope that the Pakistan squad that will visit New Zealand this year will also include very talented and capable players. Since 1965, New Zealand hosted a total of 13 Test series against Pakistan.
The Pakistan squad will leave Lahore for New Zealand on November 23. The national squad will complete its 14-day quarantine in Lincoln. During this time, the squad will have to live in a bio-secure bubble while they will not be able to participate in any cricket activities. This bubble will end after 14 days of quarantine.
Before flying to New Zealand, the national players and sports staff will take 19 Tests in Lahore. Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to send Pakistan Shaheens along with its senior team to New Zealand. The players, sports staff, and schedule of the series will be announced in due course.
