According to the press release Habib Metro Bank is going to take the initiative to introduce new debit card service in Pakistan which focuses on expanding the formal access of financial services across Pakistan. Habib Metro has inked an agreement with 1Link an intra-bank payments network in the country in order to issue PayPak Debit Cards.
PayPak is the first domestic and native payment solution started last year, which focuses on providing cost-effective alternative to local payment solutions. PayPak will gear up the access to ATM’s around the country. PayPak also admires the State Bank’s vision of greater financial inclusion in the country.
HBL has already launched a PayPak debit card which is being used by thousands of customers, now Habib Metro has launched its PayPak debit card in order to enhance the outreach of financial services in Pakistan.
