The release date of the multi-starrer film—Parwaaz Hai Junoon (PHJ) has been delayed as was stated in a press release. As per the statement, the Momina and Duraid Films’ movie has been postponed keeping in view the wider interest of the industry and the excess of films that would be releasing on Eid-ul-Fitr.
Momina Duraid—the producer of Parwaaz Hai Junoon regarding the postponement said that there are six movies that would be releasing this Eid and presently the film industry is not that strong to assist the release of so many movies together. This indeed is a big reason of worry for all the producers as it would be tough for the films to break even if all are released together, keeping in mind the number of screens and shows available.
She further said in the wider interest of the entire industry her company has taken the decision to pull their movie out from the Eid race. She stated that her company strongly feels that this is the best thing to do in the present situation and as members of the fraternity, everyone needs to put aside their personal agendas and assist each other for achieving the greater goal.
Parwaaz Hai Junoon is a movie based on Pakistan Air Force, starring Hamza Ali Abbasi, Kubra Khan, Hania Aamir and Ahad Raza Mir. The movie would now be released on Eid-ul-Azha 2018 across the world. The movie is said to be a tribute to Pakistan Air Force.
