Pakistan’s First Ever 5G-Ready AirScale Cloud RAN Platform Deployed

Telenor Pakistan has successfully deployed Nokia’s 5G-ready AirScale Cloud RAN solution. The aim is to advance its digital transformation to enhance customer experience and bring betterment to overall ownership cost.

It will be the first AirScale Base Station Controller (BSC) and AirScale Radio Network Controller (RNC) deployment on the AirFrame cloud infrastructure in Pakistan. Also in Middle Eastern and African region it is the first cloud-based BSC deployment

The solution by Nokia will minimize the complexity in network and reduce the functional cost. It will allow the service providers to offer innovate services in affordable manner.
