Pakistan’s Economy on Right Track, Says PM Khan

PM Khan has said on Tuesday that the economy of Pakistan is on the right track, and the economic reforms taken by the government have started yielding fruits.

On Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted that the current account of Pakistan has turned into huge in the month of October this year for the first time in the span of 4 years.

He added that their current account deficit for the first 4 months of the present fiscal year has reduced by 73.5percent in comparison to the same span of last financial year.

The PM said that the exports of the country’s goods and services during last month this year increased by 20percent over the last month and 9.6percent over the month of October 2018.

While congratulating the exporters, PM Khan said to them for doing more to boost the exports of the country.

Last week, PM Khan had said that the core objective of the process of privatization was to make the economy of the country strong.

Heading a high-level meeting for reviewing the progress on the privatization of loss-making public sector enterprises, PM Khan said that the process was in the interest of the national economy.
