Pakistan’s Debt is Rs. 2.42 Trillion Higher Than Last Year’s

Pakistan’s Debt is Rs. 2.42 Trillion Higher Than Last Year’s – the country has a debt of Rs. 22.99 which was Rs. 20.57 during the same period in 2019.

Although, it is stated that Pakistan has cleared some Rs. 1.7 billion debts during October 2020, Pakistan’s debt is still Rs. 2.42 (approx.) higher than the same period during the last year.

The recoded debt this year till now is around Rs. 22.99 which was almost Rs. 20.57 during the same period in 2019.

This is approximately 11.8% higher than the debt of 2019.

At the end of FY20, the total debt was recorded at Rs. 22.98. While during 4MFY21, the total debt increased by Rs.17.16 billion.

Of this total debt, Rs. 14.97 trillion is payable by the government sector and Rs. 8.02 trillion by the non-government sector.

It is informed that Rs. 6.33 trillion has been provided by the SBP for investments in government securities and government deposits, and other direct loans.

Of this, only Rs. 214. 92 billion has been cleared from Pakistan’s debt as of now.
