It was also disclosed that out of five three people are ready to fight for their nation. The priority lies in the difference in regions that play an essential part in influencing the people.

In the Middle East and North Africa, people are more willing in comparison to Western Europe. The ratio between the two is 83% to 25% respectively.

Jean-Marc Leger the President of WIN/Gallup International Association said

“One hundred years on from the start of the First Great War we find that 61% of the world’s citizens are willing to fight for their country.

However, the true story is in the regional comparison and in a time of such turmoil in the Middle East it is noticeable that willingness to fight is highest in the MENA (the Middle East and North African) region.”

The top three nations are Morocco, Fiji, and Pakistan. 89% of Pakistani said that they are ready to fight for their nation.

Moreover, it was also proved via the survey that Muslims are ranked highest when it comes to fighting for their country. 78% of the Muslims were ready to fight for their nation.

In comparison to men and women 52% women and 67% of men agreed to fight for their country.

The age group 18-34 years made up 66% of the total people willing to fight for their country.
