Pakistanis are 2-4 times more likely to be diabetic – Research

Around 6.9% of the adult population in Pakistan is suffering from diabetes, as per the International Diabetes Federation. South Asians including Pakistanis are 2-4 times more likely to be diabetic. Due to high sugar intake in our daily route, a large number of people are at risk of getting diabetic. People living in South Asia are more prone to being diagnosed with diabetic especially if someone in their family has type 2 diabetes.
