A Pakistani Student Moiz has been killed by a cyclist in China. 26-year-old Moiz was studying in the Nanjing Normal University in China after he received the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) scholarship.
Moiz encountered a minor dispute with the cyclist, upon which the Chinese man pulled out a knife and stabbed him right on the street. Injured, Moiz was taken to the hospital but he was unable to survive the injuries and passed away.
There is a CCTV footage of the incident where it can be seen that two individuals are arguing with each other. Also, a girl is seen standing with Moiz. As the argument gets heated the Chinese cyclists go away. After a minute or two he returns back with a knife. As Moiz tries to push him, he stabbed him multiple times. After he stabbed Moiz, the Chinese left the place on the bike/cycle.
Since 2017, Moiz was enrolled in the Nanjing Normal University in a Chinese language program. Pakistani students are offered scholorships through CSP every year. Some students are selected via the scholarship program while others are referred by the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) after they pass an NTS Test.
People are raising their voice on Twitter, demanding justice for Moiz.
One Twitter user tweeted, “One Pakistani student killed by a Chinese. Please raise voice for justice. All Pakistani authorities in China are sleeping.”
