Pakistani Rupee Stabilizes Against US Dollar in Interbank Market

The exchange rate of the US dollar against the rupee has decreased by 0.03 rupees in the interbank and was traded at Rs.155.87 against Rs.155.90 earlier, as per the reports of State Bank of Pakistan.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs.155.85 and Rs.156.25 respectively.

The State Bank further reported that in the interbank the price of Euro has declined by Rs.0.47 and was traded at Rs.173.63 against the last closing of Rs.174.10.

The exchange rate of the Japanese Yen remained stable and was traded at Rs.1.43 whereas the decline of Rs0.62 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound which was traded at Rs.201.65 in comparison to the last closing of Rs.202.27.

The exchange rate of UAE Dirham witnessed a decline of Rs.0.01 and was traded at Rs.42.43 as against the last closing of Rs.42.44 while the Saudi Riyal witnessed a decline of Rs.0.01 and was traded at Rs.41.55 against Rs.41.56 the earlier day, as per the unveiled data.
