Pakistani passport ranking improved by six spots on global index-2020

The positive policies implemented by the PTI-led federal government of Pakistan have started producing fruitful results as the Pakistani passport has been ranked at 192 in the annual ranking of the most powerful passports in the world.

As per the details, the ranking of the green passport has improved by at six spots in the Individual Passport Power Ranking 2020.

It is pertinent to mention here that the password ranking list has been issued by the “Passport Index”, which is the leading passport ranking website in the world. The list is being organized on the basis of how many destinations the passport holder can enter without having a visa.

According to the details, Japan was placed at the top position of the list this year with an access to 117 countries without a visa, at the second position of the list is New Zealand with an access to 116 countries. Finland has been placed at the third position on the list of ranking and Australia stood on the fourth position.

On the other hand, Pakistan had climbed 28 ranks on the Ease of Doing Business Index 2020 issued by the World Bank (WB) to gain 108th position last year in October.

It is worth mentioning here that Pakistan had also secured a place among the top ten global business climate reformers.
