Pakistani Passport Ranked 4th Worst for International Travel

As per a report, the passport of Pakistan has been ranked among the five worst passports for international travelling.

According to the Henley Passport Index, published in 2018 Pakistan is ranked as the fourth worst passport in the world. The Index has placed the country’s passport on the one hundred and second (102 nd) position among the one hundred and five (105) nations of the world. The Pakistani passport holders have visa-free access to only thirty nations of the world.

The countries to lie below in ranks than Pakistan are Afghanistan, Iran and Syria as per the index.

Japan and Singapore are among the nations that have got the most powerful passports as per the data assembled by the global citizenship and residence advisory firm Henley and Partners. Both the Asia countries—Japan and Singapore enjoy visa-free access to one hundred and eighty destinations throughout the world.

Japan and Singapore have successfully beaten Germany from the top position. Germany has got visa-free access to one hundred and seventy-nine destinations.

South Korea is on the third position in the rankings, besides the European countries of France, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Sweden and Spain. The passport holders of these nations have visa-free access to one hundred and seventy-eight destinations.

Among the Asian nations, Malaysia has also advanced and now was ranked on the eleventh (11th) position with the permit to travel visa-free to one hundred and sixty-nine destinations.

The United States of America and Canada are ranked on the fifth place in the index, allowing visa-free access to one hundred and seventy-six destinations and the United Kingdom lies in the fourth place.

The United Arab Emirates was positioned at the twenty-seventh (27th) rank giving visa-free access to one hundred and forty destinations.
