Pakistani National Jailed for Molesting A Sleeping Woman in Dubai

A Pakistani national has been given an imprisonment of three months in jail after a Dubai court found him guilty of sexually harassing a sleeping woman at the reception area of a building, as reported by Khaleej Times.

The nineteen-year-old jobless man was alleged for touching the Filipina in inappropriate manners who was sleeping. The young boy has denied the sexual harassment charges at the Court of First Instance. However, the court sentenced him and directed him to be deported.

This incident took place on the 19th of March and was reported to the Al Qusais police station.

The thirty-eight-year-old lady—the complaint launcher is an accountant by profession was as per her statement waiting at the reception for her friend in a building in Al Qusais industrial area. The time was around 3:30 pm. She said that she fell asleep on the couch while waiting. According to her when she opened her eyes, she saw a man touching her thighs and abdomen.

The man ran out as the woman started to scream. The man returned after a few minutes and gave a gesture to her to walk towards him. As per the lady she ignored his gestures and instead reported him to the police the very next day as she was in shock and confused about the indecent occurrence.

The lady told the police that she is completely unaware that for how long the accused guy had been touching her because she was sleeping for five to ten minutes and when she opened her eyes she saw the guy with his hands on her.

The woman said that the guy was talking to her in a language that was beyond her level of comprehension. When the guy returned after running away he wanted to talk to the woman, but she refused to that and did not go to him.
