Pakistani government sends halal foods for 1,300 Pakistani students in China’s Wuhan

The federal government of Pakistan reportedly sent food to as many as 1,300 Pakistani students in Wuhan as they had complained about the unavailability of the halal food.

The spokesperson of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) confirmed that a special plan has flown to China’s Wuhan to deliver 17 tonnes of halal food items for the Pakistani students.

As per the details, the same plane will bring the supplies to contain the deadly virus in Pakistan on its way back to the country from China.

It is worth mentioning here that the Federal Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development issued the funds for the halal food for the Pakistani students in China, while the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) made the arrangements to deliver it.

Wuhan—the sprawling capital of Central China’s Hubei province—is the epicenter of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which has now spread across the world and took the lives of more than 10,000 people so far.
