Abdul Razzak Dawood – Adviser to the PM on Commerce and Investment – requested Pakistani exporters to forward their proposals for the Perennial Trade Agreement (PTA). He communicated using his Twitter handle which quoted:
He said that a meeting in this regard is expected to be held in the mid of December.
To develop trade ties with Afghanistan, Pakistan is seeking proposals from different sectors including engineering, pharmaceutical, cement, building materials, fruit, and vegetables.
The adviser, earlier, went with a delegation to Afghanistan on a 2-day tour and discussed matters related to bilateral ties. This tour was organized prior to the PM’s visit to Afghanistan.
He further shared:

Hopefully, APTTA & the PTA will be finalized by the end of January 2021.
Will hold extensive meetings with all stakeholders in the coming days. Tremendous opportunities exist and I hope that our businessmen will realize them.
