Pakistan won the first bronze medal in Commonwealth Games

Talha Talib, a Pakistani weightlifter, has won the first bronze medal for its country at the Commonwealth Games. Talha won the medal for lifting 283 kg weight.

On the second day of the Commonwealth Games, the national hockey team has failed to impress and didn’t secure any medal and the score for the drawing competition was 1-1 against Wales.

Pakistan has also lost badminton matches by 5-0 against the Scottish team before failing to win any game against the Indian team. Pakistani squash players, Farhan Zaman and Tayyab Aslam have won their squash matches. On the other hand, Madiha Zafar lost against Deon Saffery of Wales in the squash competition.

Pakistani boxer Gulzaib defeated William of Guernsey in the 69kg boxing competition and made his way to face Northern Ireland’s Aidan Walsh next.
