Pakistan has witnessed 88 more COVID-19 associated deaths in the span of one single day. The countrywide count of the fatalities has risen to 1,483 as per the reports of local media.
As per the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 3039 new coronavirus cases have emerged during the span of the last twenty-four hours, thus increasing the countrywide count to 64,469.
The province of Sindh remains the worst-affected province by the epidemic. Following Sindh, there is Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
As per the current figures, 27,360 COVID-199 cases have been confirmed in the province of Sindh, 9,540 in KP, 2,192 in Balochistan, 4,193 in KP, 660 in GB, 2,192 in Islamabad and 234 in Azad Kashmir.
Moreover, 453 people have lost their lives because of the pandemic in KP, 465 in Sindh, 475 in Punjab, 23 in Islamabad, 46 in Balochistan, and 9 in the province of Gilgit Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 547,009 coronavirus tests and 14,972 tests in the span of the last 24 hours. The count of people who have recovered from the disease is 25,271 and the ones who are still recovering are 42,739.
