Pakistan has got the plans of launching a study to determine the impact of coronavirus on the industries.
The announcement was made by the Federal Science and Technology Minister, Fawad Chaudhry on Twitter on Wednesday.
This study will be a collaborative initiative of the Pakistan Science Foundation and the Higher Education Commission.
It will study how the virus will affect the industries in Pakistan, which new industries will get a chance to emerge and which would be collapsing, as was explained by Fawad Chaudhry.
HEC, on the basis of this study, will then be issuing guidelines to the universities on how to reset the degree plans as per the future needs of the industry.
On the other hand, the government of Punjab has issued a warning to reimposed the lockdown if the businesses continue to violate the issued SOPs.
Practicing these SOPs is essential for curbing the spread of the global coronavirus pandemic.
The provincial minister for Industries and Commerce, Mian Aslam Iqbal said that if the traders keep on breaking the rules that have been agreed before the lockdown was eased, then the government will not think twice before reimposing the lockdown. He also indicated that however, this time the lockdown would be severe than before.
