Pakistan to Purchase 48 high-end military drones from China

Pakistan will purchase 48 high-end military drones from China. According to the military experts, it will be the largest deal of its kind.

According to the report by Money Control Wing Loong II is a drone that is manufactured by the Chengdu Aircraft Industrial (Group) Company that is a high-end reconnaissance, strike, and multi-purpose unmanned aircraft. Pakistan and China also plan to manufacture jointly the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in the future.

The 48 high-end military drones deal cost has not been decided yet. The announcement has come immediately after India had an agreement with Russia to purchase S-400 sophisticated missile defence systems.

Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) Sherdils Aerobatic on its official Facebook page announced the purchase of Chinese drones by Pakistan. The cost will be revealed when the drones are delivered.

Furthermore, it was also announced that in future Aeronautical Complex Kamra and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China’s Chengdu Aircraft Industrial (Group) will collaborate to manufacture the drones.
