On Sunday Pakistan and China signed the second phase of the Free Tarde Agreement (FTA) following that Pakistan would be getting duty-free access to the Chinese markets.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan—the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting informed that the free trade agreement would help in promoting the local industry.

While talking to the PM’s visit to China during a stopover in Gujrat, Dr Awan said that for the first time ever a leader is talking for the betterment of the nation and people at international levels, unlike the ex-rulers who only made foreign visits either for personal or business interests.

She said that strategy is being formed for the eradication of poverty and added that the government was taking solid steps for improving the economy and to resolve the social issues.
