Pakistan has successfully tested Ghaznavi Missile. According to the Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, Pakistan carried out the night training launch of the surface to surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi.
In a tweet, the DG ISPR said, “Pakistan successfully carried out night training launch of the surface to surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi, capable of delivering multiple types of warheads up to 290 KMs. CJCSC & Services Chiefs congrats team. President & PM conveyed appreciation to the team & congrats to the nation.”
For successfully conducting the test, the Chairman Joints Chief of Staff Committee and Services Chiefs, President and PM congratulated the team.
This successful test launch of Ghaznavi Missile is witnessed amid the increasing tensions with India following it revoking occupied Kashmir’s special status on August 5th. Pakistan as a reaction cut transport and trade routes with India. Also, PM Khan decided to observe Kashmir hour every week on Friday to express solidarity with Kashmir and Kashmiri people.
It is pertinent to mention here that back in May, the Pak army conducted a successful training launch of the Shaheen-II surface-to-surface ballistic missile just a day after our neighbors tested their supersonic Brahmos cruise missile.
