Investors took a cautious approach in the stock market on the first day of the trading week, losing 86 points in the 100-index at the end of trading; the market was closed at 28,023 points.
Investors in the stock market looked cautious on the first day of the trading week, recording 1002 points down 642 points during the trading session, but after the end of trading, the index closed 86 points lower at 28,023.
Today’s SE100 Index recorded the lowest level of 27,467 points and the highest level was 28,114 points.
On Monday, trading volume was also limited and the stock market was trading Rs.4.24 billion worth of 150.92 million shares only. Pakistan’s stock market is under immense pressure due to the Coronavirus crisis and overall changing behavior of investors, the exchange rate of the dollar has also been increased during the last couple of weeks, USD was trading at Rs165.50 on the open market today.
