Pakistan Soon to Enlist Among Top Medical Equipment Producers

The Federal Minister for Science and Technology says that Pakistan is expected to develop medical equipment in the country, rather than importing them.

According to the Federal Minister for Science and Technology, 2021 could be a game-changer for the entire nation when Pakistan could be making its in-house developed medical equipment. The minister also hinted that two of the leading brands related to the same industry are willing to set up units in Pakistan.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry recently shared this unique piece of information using his Twitter handle:

Earlier this week, the minister in an address also added that Pakistan would soon produce its own x-ray and dialysis machines.

It is informed that as of now, Pakistan spends nearly $1.6 million on importing health equipment.
