Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari, the special assistant to the PM for Overseas Pakistanis has asked the Saudi Minister for Tourism, Ahmed Bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb on Tuesday to explore the investment opportunities in the tourism sector of Pakistan.
Bukhari said that the tourism sector of Pakistan has got great potential and that Saudi Arabia should consider it as an investment opportunity. He said this while addressing an online session with the minister of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi minister asked the NTCB chairman to share a draft of the tourism strategy of Pakistan so the Kingdom could carry out an assessment of the tourism potential of Pakistan.

Both the country ministers shared and discussed plans to reopen tourism in their respective nations and emphasized its significance for the economic recovery.
Bukhari informed the Saudi Minister that the government intends to boost the installment of small locations as well as big projects which could be an attractive investment for the hotel industry.
The Saudi minister also emphasized the need for analyzing the rules and regulations about the development of the tourism industry.
Zulfiqar Bukhari also informed the Saudi minister about the soon to be introduced national tourism brand of Pakistan.
