Pakistan receives 100 Ventilators from the USA


On Friday, Pakistan received a shipment of 100 ventilators sent from the US. The United States of America sent a hundred brand new ventilators to Pakistan to help in its fight with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ventilators reached on 2nd July in Karachi and soon will be installed in the hospitals all over the country. As per the statement given out by the US Embassy in Islamabad, the donation of ventilators delivers on President Trump’s substantial offer of the critical need of these supplies. The US President also supports Pakistan’s urgent response to the coronavirus.

The statement read that the value of these ventilators cost about $3 million as they reflect the latest medical design and technology. Moreover, they easily deployable, compact, and will be useful for Pakistan to treat all COVID-19 patients more effectively.

The United States of America will help Pakistan to fight out the coronavirus, said the US ambassador to Pakistan Paul Jones. These latest designed American-made ventilators will be very helpful for all Pakistani patients.

America has contributed $27million in the new funding so far to this partnership which is growing more and more each day.
