Pakistan Ranks 73rd in Digital Skills Among Active Population


Pakistan ranks at the 73rd spot for digital skills among the active population. Digital skills are essential for career growth in today’s world. However, Pakistan lags behind in comparison to other countries in the region and globally.

In a survey released recently, Pakistan ranks at the 73rd spot. Among the top 10 countries on the list are Finland, Iceland, Sweden Switzerland, and Denmark.

The ranking of India is also quite poor. It is placed above Pakistan at 59th position on the list. It is quite a surprising result that countries including Turkey, Brazil, and South Africa are all placed at the bottom of the list even below Pakistan.

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia ranks quite above in ranking in comparison to countries like Norway, Canada, Germany, and Australia.

Earlier we informed our readers that Pakistan has been ranked among the top three countries with the highest social business growth, as per a special report by Reuters. Along with Australia and the Netherlands, Pakistan ranking has improved the most since the first Thomson Reuters Foundation experts’ poll on the best countries for social entrepreneurs in 2016.
