Pakistan Ranked Amongst Top 5 Freelance Markets in the World


A report published by Payoneer ranking for freelance markets says that Pakistan is ranked at 4th position. Pakistan has a huge prospective for freelance services. It is estimated that 70% of the total population is under the age of 30 and is working as freelancers. The list is issued by the United States.

The US shares 78% revenue growth per year in the freelance market. It is good to know that the right use of technology in the form of 4G. The Head of Business Development Pakistan, Mohsin Muzaffer said that 4G has given extraordinary access to international markets.

In the report, Payoneer wrote that the country’s freelancer has increased from 4% in Q3 2018 to 40% in Q2 2019. It is all because of the government’s efforts and youth participation in the economy. In this way, the youth’s digital skills are also enhanced.

In 2019, the USA, UK, Brazil, Pakistan, Ukraine, Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Russia and Serbia were the top ten freelancing countries. According to the report, 77% of the revenue earned in freelancing was by the people under the age of 34.

The increased awareness of this gig was increased because of investment in technical education. Earlier, freelancing was not considered to be career choice but now it’s the permanent and safest job in the market.
