Pakistan Ranked 7th Most Unprotected Country in Cyber World

Pakistan has been ranked amongst the most unprotected countries regarding the Cyber Security. Kaspersky Lab has ranked Pakistan amongst highly unprotected nations in Cyber World.

Internet users in Pakistan are highly unprotected, according to a report by a multinational cybersecurity and anti-virus provider in Russia. In Bangladesh, Iran, China and India the situation is much worse.

India has been ranked more unprotected country in cyber security compared to Pakistan. The Kaspersky Lab revealed that 25% mobile phones in Pakistan have been attacked by viruses and malwares.

Right at the top is Bangladesh, ranked the most unprotected country regarding cyber security. Nigeria, China, India and Pakistan is ranked at second, fifth, sixth and 7th spot respectively.

Bangladesh has been rated as the top most of the cyber world, Nigeria is second most unprotected, China fifth and India sixth, while Pakistan stands at number 7 in the list.

Just 8 countries were included in the research. According to the report Pakistan legislation regarding the cyber security need to improve.

The first National Center for Cyber Security of Pakistan was developed in Islamabad in May 2018.

The aim of the center is to protect the cyber space of Pakistan by developing tools for innovative scientific research.
