It has been announced by Pakistan Railways that it will run 5 special trains on Eidul Azha. Chief Executive Officer Pakistan Railways Muhammad Aftab Akbar has approved the proposal to run five trains on Eid to accommodate the increasing rush of people as they travel towards their native homes.
The route of the first special train – It will depart from Quetta on 19th August at 7 am. It will pass through Jacobabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Lahore, Lala Musa and finally reach its destination Rawalpindi next day at 1.30PM.

The route of the second special train – It will depart from Karachi on 19th August at 10 am. It will pass through Hyderabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Nowshera and finally reach its destinations Peshawar Cantt at 10.30PM on August 20th.
The route of the third special train – It will depart from Karachi on 20th August at 11 am. It will pass through Hyderabad, Rohri, Khanpur, Multan Cantt, Sangla to reach its destination Lahore, on August 21st at 7.15pm.
The route of the fourth special train – It will depart from Rawalpindi on 21st August at 7 am. It will pass through Hasan Abdal, Bosal, Jhand, Mianwali, Darya Khan, Muzaffargarh to reach its destination Multan on August 22nd at 10 pm.
The route of the fifth special train – It will depart from Multan Cantt on 26th August at 7 am. It will pass through Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Kundian, Mianwali, Attock City, and Hasan Abdal to reach Rawalpindi on 27th August at 10 pm.
Furthermore, Pakistan Railways has announced discounts and facilities for its passengers traveling on August 22nd and 23rd. Those above the age of 65 years can travel free of cost while other passengers will be given a 25% discount.
