Pakistan Railways to Launch Rehman Baba Express Tomorrow

Pakistan Railways is launching the Rehman Baba Express tomorrow for low income passengers. Those travelling from Peshawar to Karachi would be able to use Rehman Baba Express and commute easily.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Railways Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed will inaugurate the Rehman Baba Express together. The launching ceremony of the train will be in Peshawar at 10am. The train will leave from Peshawar Cantonment Railways Station at 10am daily.

According to the Peshawar Railways Division official the train will have a brake van, 10 economic class coaches and a power plant.

The official added,  “This service was basically aimed at facilitating low income passengers by providing them economy class service from Peshawar to Karachi.”

 Nowshera ——- Attock City  ———–  Rawalpindi ——–Wazirabad ——Faisalabad ——–Toba Tek Singh ——– Multan——– Bahawalpur ——–Rahim Yar Khan ——– Rohri ———– Nawabshah ———- Hyderabad ——–Landhi and then it will finally reach the Karachi Cantonment Railway Station next day at 12:30pm.

Rehman Baba Express is named after the legendary Pasho poet ‘Abdul Rehman’

The ticket of the train will be PKR 1350. Those passengers traveling on the first day of its launch, that is tomorrow will have half the ticket price.

We earlier informed our readers about the Rehman Baba train expected to launch to facilitate those people who cannot afford to travel via expensive trains or other modes of transport. Now the train is finally launching tomorrow.
