The Mohenjo-Daro Express train was launched by Pakistan Railways on Monday. It will operate between Karachi and Multan.
The train service was inaugurated by the Railways Divisional Superintendent Arshad Khattak. The train departed from the City Station Karachi for Multan.
The cost of Mohenjo-Daro Express is Rs.920 per every traveler. It would benefit the Karachi-Multan route as there has been no train that has operated on this route to date.

Earlier, the train ran between Kotri and Rohri stations after the passenger train service suspended amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
But now the route has changed. The train will depart from Karachi, go through Kotri, Sehwan, Dadu, Larkana, Kashmore, Rajanpur, DG Khan, and Muzaffargarh to reach Multan. The Mohenjo-Daro Express has the capacity to have 616 passengers, also reported by The News International.
