Pakistan Railways Cuts Ticket Fares

Pakistan Railways has decreased the ticket fares by 10 percent across all the AC Business and 5 percent across all the AC standard classes.

The decrease in the ticket fares for both the AC Standard class and AC Business class shall be seen from the 21st of September across the department.

Furthermore, the department has made the announcement of restoring the dining restaurant cars throughout all the express trains from the 14th of September.

It stated that the dining restaurant cars were barred previously in mid of coronavirus pandemic. But, now the passengers could avail breakfast, tea, and lunch among other food items from their express trains.

The Railways has also announced to introduce 2 new railways trajectories from Lahore to Narowal and to Sahiwal.

On the other hand, previously, medical colleges have taken the decision to relax their admission criteria for the forthcoming academic year. According to the newly issued rules, the candidates must at least obtain 33 percent marks in the entry tests for getting considered for admission. Whereas the half of sixty-six percent minimum score is required of the last year.
