On Saturday Pakistan and Qatar signed 3 MoUs for further boosting cooperation in trade, business, tourism and investment.
The Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Amir of State of Qatar—Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani witnessed the signing of the ceremony which was held at the PM house.
On the establishment of Pakistan and Qatar Joint Working Group (JWG) the memorandum of understanding was signed on trade and investment by the Finance Minister of State of Qatar—Ali Shareef Al Emadi and the Advisor on Commerce—Abdul Razak Dawood.
Akbar Al Baker—the Secretary-General of Qatar National Tourism Council and the Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) Dr Fehmida Mirza signed the Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of tourism and business events between the two countries Pakistan and Qatar.
Another MoU on the construction of cooperation in the field of exchange of financial intelligence linked to money laundering related predicate offences and terrorism financing between the Financial Information Unit of the State of Qatar and the Financial Monitoring Unit of the Pakistani government was signed by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Eid Al Thani, the Muneer Ahmed—the acting Director General Financing Monitoring Unit and the Head of Qatar Financial Information Unit.
