Murad Saeed, the federal minister for Communications and Postal Services has said that pensions of the retirees would be brought to their homes via the Pakistan Post, as per the reports of local media.

The minister said that the decision has been taken to assure that the elderly people of the nation stay at their homes and remain safe amid the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic.

The pensioners would be sent their allowances to their homes at their doorsteps by the employees of the Pakistan Post.

Murad Saeed has also indicated that all the requirements asked for the major task have been fulfilled and a plan has been drafted.

Murad Saeed has said that the Pakistani government would not be risking the elderly of the nation in the dangerous times that have occurred owing to the spread of the coronavirus.

Previously, Pakistan reported its 3rd coronavirus death as the seventy-seven-year-old patient passed away in the port city, as confirmed by the Health Minister of Sindh.

The Health Minister of the province, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho has said that the patient was the survivor of cancer and had hypertension as well as diabetes, however, he has not got any travel history.
