In order to enhance its outreach and expand its operations, Pakistan Post is getting access to National Database Regulatory Authority’s (Nadra) more than 15,000 e-Sahulat outlets.
At the launch of Pakistan Post’s Franchise Initiative the Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed revealed this. The Franchise Initiative is carried out in joint collaboration with Nadra. Pakistan Post wants to increase its digital consumer’s base.
According to Saeed the franchise model would be quite successful and profitable as it will ease expansion and accessibility without getting into any major cost.
It will make the business financially appealing. Technological innovations will be incorporated in the service that include adding a mobile app, express mail service, e-commerce.
People would be able to avail the Pakistan Post services that includes parcel booking, e-money orders, Benazir Income Support Programme payments from government to the public, through this initiative.
The minister was assured by the Pakistan Post Director-General Dr Naseer Ahmed Khan that full effort will be made to ensure the success of the initiative. It will help in turning the organization in to a self-sustaining and lucrative venture.
