Pakistan Petroleum Production Increases by 3.39 percent

Petroleum production is Pakistan has been increased during the last 11 months of the current fiscal year from July 2016 to May 2017 as compared to previous period 2015-2016 according to a press release—APP.

Jet fuel production was among the other petroleum products which saw a positive change; the production of Jet Fuel grew by 5.79% in the current fiscal year.  Motor spirits production rose by 13.52% during this period while high-speed diesel production grew by 4.72%.

The production of Jute Batching oil was at the top of the list which gushed to 36% and the production of LPG surged to 12.77%. However, Furnace oil production also witnessed increase but it was the lowest among others, the production grew by 3.36%.

Some petroleum products also had negative growth in production including kerosene oil, diesel oil, Solvent Naptha and lubricating oil having a decline of 11.78%, 21.81% and 16.29% respectively.
