Pakistan Meets UAE to Further Strengthen Ties

The FM, while meeting the USE envoy, recalled the importance of high-level visits from both sides, to further strengthen ties.

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan met the Emirati leadership and discussed the importance of its long-standing friendly ties with the UAE.

In the meeting, the FM paid his tributes to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who contributed immensely towards strengthening bilateral ties.

The FM also recalled the importance of high-level visits from both sides, to further strengthen ties between the two nations.

He further appreciated the UAE’s support for Pakistan’s Expo pavilion to be held in 2021. The area is covering approximately 3,500 sq. meters. This pavilion is expected to exhibit Pakistan’s culture, investment opportunities, and tourism potential in the Arab world, with 190 countries and 25 million people predicted to participate.

The UAE Ambassador, on the other side, also appreciated the strong tie between the two nations.

It is said that UAE is Pakistan’s largest trading partner in the Middle East. And the UAE is home to more than 1.6 million Pakistanis.
