On the Lowy Institute Asia Power Index, Pakistan has been listed as the 15th most powerful country in Asia. This was revealed by the Lowy Institute Asia Power Index report which qualified and tracked the influence of countries on the Asian continent.
According to the report, India is far behind Pakistan in the same category. In order to improve the diplomatic relations with other countries, enhance trade and economic ties, PM Khan and his team took productive measures.
In 2020, the report stated that Pakistan gained the most in diplomatic influence with (+3.8) points. But in cultural influence it lost some points with (−3.9).
It has improved in resilience with (+1.3) points and future resources (+1.2) points. In defence network it has (−1.9) points while in military capability it stood at (−0.8) points, and in economic relationships at (−0.2) points.
The major improvement Pakistan showed was in future resource measures in which it was placed on 7th rank.
