As per the reports of local media, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have agreed to increase the trade volume to $10million.
On Tuesday the agreement was made during a meeting that was held between the Foreign Minister of Pakistan—Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Kyrgyz counterpart—Chingiz Aidarbekov at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek.
As per sources, during the meeting matters pertaining to bilateral relations, trade and other issues were discussed. Both the leaders agreed to increase the bilateral ties between the two nations.
Previously, Shah Mehmood Qureshi reached Bishkek for attending a 2-day meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) nations in Bishkek.
He was received at the airport by the Ambassador of Pakistan and the senior officials of Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting would be approving significant documents, which would later be taken up by the Council of Heads of States meeting, which is to be held next month in Bishkek.
The foreign minister would be delivering his remarks at the full session of the meeting.
