The National Information And Technology Board (NITB) of Pakistan has recently issued a security warning to all WhatsApp users in the country. According to the details provided by the authority, WhatsApp users must follow the guide in order to protect them with a malicious video that has been circulating on WhatsApp.
The authority said, “Stay Updated with @NationalITBoard Cyber Alerts | A malicious video named ” Argentina” is circulating on WhatsApp that shows how the COVID-19 curve is flattening in Argentina. Do not open the link as it hacks your phone in 10 seconds & it cannot be stopped in any way.“
