Pakistan is now a Permanent member of SCO Youth Council


Pakistan recently became a permanent member of the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Youth Council.

Pakistan’s appointment in the SCO Youth Council has been possible because of the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s efforts and reforms which he has instituted from the past two years, said Usman Dar (SAPM) Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs in a video statement. Also, he was the one to confirm this news.

He further added that this is all PM Khan’s efforts as he created the country’s first Youth Council by introducing schemes like Hunarmand Pakistan and Kamyab Jawan programs for the welfare of the youth of Pakistan.

Usman Dar said that with the permanent membership of SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization), now the youth can easily represent their country at council meetings and in its exchange programs.

Moreover, the youth will also be able to take part in the skill development programs of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Youth Council.

On the other hand, Daewoo Bus Services has also restarted its operations all over Pakistan from the 10th of July. So far, the bus service has not revealed the SOPs they will be following due to COVID-19 but they have announced that the service will be providing discounts for some routes.
