Pakistan invites Saudi Arabia to join CPEC

Pakistan has invited Saudi Arabia to join CPEC. Saudi Arabia has become the first country that has been invited by Pakistan to become part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Minister of Information Fawad Chaudhry addressed a press conference in Islamabad in which he disclosed the salient points discussed during Imran Khan’s visit to Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE). Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan’s main aim is to cooperate with Saudi Arabia to boost trade and security.
He further informed that high-level delegations will visit Pakistan from Saudi Arabia and the UAE in October.
