Pakistan has extended the invitation to the Chinese firms for taking advantage of the incentives offered by the government for investment and to set up the solar panels and lithium battery manufacturing units in the nation.
The offer was given by the Minister for Science and Technology—Fawad Chaudhry at a meeting with the CEO of MERA PC Solutions in Beijing, as per the reports of local media.
The minister said that Pakistan has got tremendous potential in solar and lithium battery manufacturing and there are great opportunities for making exports to Africa, Central Asia, Afghanistan and to the Middle East.
He also said that the government would be offering all facilities which include land, human resources and technical support other than the joint venture opportunities to the Chinese firms.
The minister said that the Chinese firms should make diversification in manufacturing in Pakistan as the government wants to boost production and exports.
The CEO of the MERA PC Solutions said that his nation would make sure to have the transfer of technology to Pakistan and help in increasing the local manufacturing and in enhancing the exports.
