Pakistan has successfully carried out the Ghauri Missile system training launch. The Army Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) conducted the training to test the functional and technical readiness. This is confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Nuclear and conventional warheads can be carried to a distance of 1300km by the Ghauri Ballistic Missile.
The standard of the training and operational readiness was appreciated by the Commander ASFC Lieutenant-General Mian Muhammad Hilal Hussain.
The statement said, “The launch consolidates Pakistan’s nuclear capability which is aimed at peace and stability through a credible deterrence regime.”
The President and Prime Minister of Pakistan Arif Alvi and Imran Khan along with the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Services Chiefs appreciated the successful launch of the Ghauri Missile.
Commander Army Strategic Forces Lt-Gen Hussain, Chairman NESCOM Dr. Nabeel Hayat Malik and Chairman KRL Tahir Ikram witnessed the launch of the Ghauri missile along with other senior officers.
