Pakistan student forum Beijing

Beijing: Pakistan Embassy in Beijing has organized a first of its kind the Pakistan Students Forum in Beijing in order to support the cause of Pakistani students studying in China.

Chinese universities have seen a tremendous increase in student enrolments from Pakistan lately, there are roughly 25 thousand students including 6 thousand Ph.D. scholars from Pakistan are studying in various Chinese universities which makes Pakistan the third largest destination of International students in China.

In merely the past 5 years the number of Pakistani students in China has grown from 9,630 to 25,000 by the last year, the number of students has grown due to friendly policies towards Pakistani students after the economic cooperation between Pakistan and China on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

Govt. Plans to establish 3 more universities in Rawalpindi

More than 400 students currently studying in China has attended the Pakistan Student Forum held in Beijing. Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Masood Khalid while talking to the forum said, “This is the first of its kind forum and opportunity for Pakistani students to get together and discuss the problems and opportunities Pakistani students have in China, he also advised students to comply strictly with local Chinese laws at all costs.
