Pakistan Digital City—An Initiative of KPK Govt

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to start an amazing initiative. The government is planning to make a Pakistan digital city.

The city would be the first of its kind. The site for the digital city is located behind Margala Hills—Islamabad at Haripur. The location is the most beautiful of all and has got natural sceneries. Further benefit of the site is that it is close to the federal capital and to the new Islamabad International Airport.

The digital city that is all planned by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, would be offering developed and competitive land on lease basis to a variety of business and technology companies. The KPITB is gathering feedback and the basic requirements from all the possible investors for establishing the city as per the industry-specific needs.

Previously, there was a news about the plans of IT Minister who wants to transform Karachi into a digital city. He while talking to media said that the authority would be improving the quality of IT and technology in Pakistan.

Khalid Maqbool—the IT minister also talked about data being the currency of the future. He discussed the possibility of establishing a data centre in Karachi.
