Pakistan Citizen Portal has been ranked as the second best app in the world. Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan tweeted about the app sharing its success at the World Government Summit competition.

According to PM Khan at the competition 4646 mobile apps of different categories were presented from 87 nations. The summit held in Dubai listed Pakistan’s Citizen Portal app as the 2nd best mobile app in the globe. Right at the top was an app from Indonesia and at third spot was an app from USA.

Prime Minister said it is the first that a government owned app has reached this level.

Imran Khan tweeted, “Creating a direct link with the people to provide for resolution of their problems has led to the incredible success of my complaint cell in the PM Office.”

The ranking Pakistan Citizens Portal received was 4.5out of 5. At Google search category it stood at 7th number. The app has been designed in a record time of 45 days by team from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It can be downloaded free of cost.

Launched back on 28th October, the app has helped resolved complaints of 250,000 citizens out of 420,000. The app has received 55% reasonable feedback from the public.
